How to fix error not alarm on iPhone, Android phones

A beautiful day, your phone alarm does not sound while all other audio functions okay? Then the alarm error must be confused! Take a look at the following solutions to fix the sound of the alarm not ringing on iPhone and Android phones!

You need to check the following ways sequentially, after doing try setting an alarm 1 minute away from the current time to check.

For example, if you’re doing it at 13:00, set an alarm for 13:01. If the alarm is still not working properly, go to the next way.

1. Make sure your phone has battery remaining

All applications on the phone will stop working when the phone runs out of battery and power down. So your alarm won’t ring if your phone runs out of battery.

2. Did you activate the alarm and set it on time?

Make sure you have set on time and activate the alarm.

Also, pay attention to the notation AM (bright) and PM (afternoon) if you are setting the 12-hour mode (9 pm will show 9:00 PM) instead of 24 hours (9 pm 21:00).

3. Check the alarm option in the set alarms

– On iPhone and iPad

+ Step 1: Go to the Clock application> Select Repair > Select the alarm item you want to customize.

+ Step 2: Please check the alarm time for accuracy, after making sure you click Sounds > Select the tone you like> Back.

+ Step 3: Click Save.

– On Android phones

+ Step 1: Access the Clock application> Select the alarm item to check> Go to Alarm sound.

+ Step 2: Click On, then select the Ringtone you want and then return> Save.

4. Use only 1 default alarm app

If there are many applications in your phone that can set an alarm, you may have an alarm that does not sound an alarm.

It’s best to use the default alarm clock app on your device or disable it completely and use another alarm app. Another way is to completely delete the 3rd application.

5. Check for system updates

Many users experience alarm sound problems on their phones because they use outdated software versions. So upgrading the phone software is also a way to solve the problem of the alarm not sounding.

– On iPhone and iPad

+ Step 1: Go to Settings

+ Step 2: Choose General settings > Software updates > Download and install.

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Choose Software updates > Click Download and install.

At this point, the system will check for a new version, if there is an update, download and install it. If, on the contrary, the device has the latest version, you will get the message: “Your software has been updated“.

6. Reboot the phone

Rebooting your device is a common way you can handle minor errors yourself. Try restarting your phone and check if the alarm is working properly.

7. Customize the bedtime feature (iPhone only)

If you turn on the feature Bedtime and put Wake up along with another alarm the alarm may not sound. So change the time set for Bedtime or alarms so that they are different.

8. Check the Bluetooth device again

Normally the alarm will sound through the speakerphone even when your phone is connected to other Bluetooth devices or headsets.

But if your phone has a software error, is not stable, the alarm may be transmitted via Bluetooth devices connected to it.

And of course, depending on the volume level, sound settings and location, you can hear whether or not these devices make an alarm sound. So disconnecting Bluetooth with other devices is also a way for the alarm to work.

– On iPhone and iPad

+ Step 1: Go to Settings

+ Step 2: Select the item Bluetooth > Click on connected device> Disconnect.

+ Step 1: Go to Settings

+ Step 2: Select the item Bluetooth > Click on connected device> Disconnect.

9. Reset machine settings (no data loss)

With this solution, you’ll erase all settings to get the device back to its original state.

– On iPhone and iPad

+ Step 1: Go to Settings

+ Step 2: Choose General settings > Click Set again.

– On Android

+ Step 1: Go to Settings

+ Step 2: Choose General Management > Click Set again.
